With countless cleaners available and new ones entering the industry every day, what makes me stand out from the rest? Cleaning is often seen as a low-status job - something anyone can do. But I beg to differ. Sure, it's a task everyone performs regularly, but just like how some people can't even boil an egg while others earn Michelin stars, cleaning is an art. It's a skill I've spent over two decades perfecting, both personally and professionally. By staying true to a few core principles that form the foundation of my business, I've been able to nurture its growth.

With so many cleaning companies out there, especially since 2020 when a surge of new ones emerged, it's easy to get lost in the noise of big promises from those with little to no experience. I've watched others try to replicate what I do, and while it might seem simple on the surface, there's a lot more that goes into running a successful cleaning business than most people realise. If you're going to spend your hard-earned money hiring a professional to clean your home, make sure they're truly a professional - someone with experience, not just a neighbour armed with a bottle of bleach and an old mop. Sure, anyone can clean, but that doesn't mean everyone should. So, with all that said - why choose me?

  • Cleaning with a conscience - I'm committed to working in a way that's ethical, sustainable and as kind to the environment as possible. I constantly research new ways to improve and 'do better' as a business. Whether it's using handmade products, reusing plastic packaging, reducing water and chemical waste, opting for eco-friendly refillable products or even walking to client's homes when I can, I'm always striving to reduce my carbon footprint. Not only do I take immense pride in my work, but I also carefully select the products I use. I choose high quality, professional-grade, non-toxic, cruelty-free, naturally based and vegan products whenever possible, to help me achieve the best cleaning results while being environmentally conscious. I'm passionate about showing that vegan and cruelty-free cleaning doesn't mean sacrificing quality - it's about offering a 5-star service without causing harm. Eco-friendly cleaning isn't a 'niche' for me - it's simply an added bonus to the excellent standards I bring to every job.

  • Recommended - I'm proud to say that I consistently receive 5-star reviews and feedback from my clients, all expressing how happy they are with my work - and I fully intend to keep it that way! When I'm working in your home, it's not just about the cleaning - it's important to me that you feel comfortable with me as a person. I'm confident in my cleaning skills, but what truly matters to me is knowing that all my clients feel at ease and happy to trust me with their home.

  • Bespoke service - I understand that every home is unique, which is why I offer a completely customisable cleaning and housekeeping service, tailored specifically to you and your home. Every client is treated as an individual, with their own specific needs and preferences. Whether you need a deep clean for your bathroom, kitchen cupboards reorganised, windows cleaned, beds made or help decluttering your home office, I'll work with you to create a cleaning routine that fits your lifestyle and your home - no one else's.

  • Independent - I'm not a large company with a big team - I'm an independent cleaner, which means I can offer a more dedicated and consistent service than some agencies or franchises that send different cleaners into your home. With me, you'll always get a familiar face that you can build a relationship with and trust. I prefer to work solo because, while I've met some incredible cleaners, I've also encountered others who simply don't share the same passion. Working on my own allows me to provide a truly personal service, and I get to know both your home and your pets intimately. As the owner of the business, you can be sure that you're getting a cleaner who genuinely cares.

  • Fully insured, DBS checked and registered with HMRC - I've never had to use my insurance, but that's exactly what it's there for - your peace of mind. Your home is your sanctuary, and it's essential to have trustworthy, fully insured and registered professionals working in your space. I understand how important it is to feel safe and secure, so you can rest assured that I am fully covered and committed to ensuring your safety and comfort.

  • Pet friendly - Not only do I have a Dogue de Bordeaux, so I'm well-acquainted with the constant battle against fur and drool, but I also genuinely love and care for animals. I'm very familiar with the horse and country lifestyle, and I completely understand how important your pets are to you. Whether I need to tiptoe around your house cat or carefully check every ingredient in my products because your dog has allergies, I always work in a way that prioritises their safety. With nearly half of UK households having pets, it's essential to consider that many common cleaning products can be harmful to them without us realising. The chemicals in household cleaners can be toxic to animals and have lasting effects on their health. Because I adore animals, I make it a point to research every ingredient in the products I use to ensure they are pet-safe. Your pet's wellbeing is always a top priority.

  • Knowledgeable and passionate - Some people might dread cleaning, but not me - I genuinely love it. My business isn't just a way to make money - it's my passion and my baby. I take immense pride in every job I do and approach each task with dedication. To me, cleaning is both an art and a science, and I take it seriously. I bring a fresh, modern perspective to a traditional service, always learning new techniques, researching and testing innovative products and tools, and developing new strategies to continually improve. I even incorporate elements of aromatherapy and feng shui into my cleaning to enhance the atmosphere of your home. My goal is to bring luxurious, hotel-standard cleaning to every client's home. This isn't just a 'let's give it a try' job for me - I truly enjoy my work, and that passion shows in every task I take on.

  • Professional tools, products and equipment - In addition to using premium, eco-friendly, vegan-certified professional cleaning products that are safe for septic tanks, I use top of the line, PAT-tested Dyson Animal HEPA microfilter vacuum cleaners, which are suitable for all floor types. These vacuums are fully cleaned and serviced after every use. My toolkit also includes a full range of deep cleaning vacuum attachments, flat mops with clean heads, and dozens of professional-grade, colour-coded cleaning cloths. I've got all the essentials - dusters, sponges, steamers, erasers, brushes, grout tools, crevice tools, lint rollers and cleaning blades - plus a few surprises like rubber brooms, screwdrivers and innovative nano-silver cloths. Every item in my kit is carefully hand-selected, tried and tested by me to ensure an expert finish. I'm always adding to my collection, sourcing the best equipment and supplies from top quality suppliers to provide outstanding care for my clients and maintain my own safety. I'm trained to identify things like natural stone and know exactly which products can be safely used. I also take special care when cleaning around pets or family members with allergies.

  • Judgment free - I'm here to help, not to judge. My own house isn't perfect either. I understand the struggle - trying to find the time to clean, spend time with loved ones, cook dinner, work, sleep, exercise, enjoy hobbies and do the weekly shop. Add kids, pets or health issues into the mix, and it's impossible for one person to do it all. I get that. So, I will never judge you on your journey to a clean and healthy home. I'm welcoming and inclusive to all potential clients, no matter your age, ability, gender, sexuality, nationality, race or religion. Everyone deserves support and a helping hand, and I'm here to provide just that, without judgment.

  • Empathetic, kind and supportive - I build strong bonds with my clients and always try to help out in any way I can, with those little things that make a big difference. Whether it's walking dogs when clients are unwell, assisting older clients with daily tasks or bringing in washing when it starts to rain, I'm always looking for ways to ease your burden. Every job I take on is handled with compassion, understanding and discretion. My goal is to take the stress away with my services, and I want you to know there's never any need to feel embarrassed or ashamed. I'm truly honoured that you choose to invite me into your home - your sanctuary - and I promise to treat both you and your belongings with the utmost respect. All of my services are completely confidential. Some clients also appreciate the companionship a regular cleaner can provide, so I'm always happy to share a cup of tea and have a friendly chat with those who enjoy the company or need someone to talk to when life gets tough. And don't worry, that's always in my own time, at no extra charge.

  • Giving back to the community - This is something I deeply care about. Through donations of money, essential items, fundraising and raising awareness of important causes, my business proudly supports several local charities, including RSPCA East Norfolk, Break, Priscilla Bacon Hospice, North Norfolk Foodbank and East Anglian Air Ambulance. I also make it a priority to support local shops and artisans by sourcing as many of my supplies as possible from nearby businesses. Giving back to the community and supporting local causes is at the heart of what I do.

  • Experienced - Of course, I'm going to be a better cleaner than someone who just woke up yesterday and decided to give it a try. But it's not just about cleaning - it's about running a business. It's showing up every single day, without fail and with no excuses. It's about time management, organisation, operations, administration, social media, bookkeeping, customer service, marketing, meetings, training and keeping up with legislation. It's using my initiative, working with honesty and integrity, being punctual and reliable, understanding the importance of discretion and making sure my clients feel comfortable and at ease with me in their homes. In short, it's about providing a professional, high quality service that goes beyond just cleaning.

  • Trained and qualified - Unlike many cleaners, I am actually qualified to do the job. I work tirelessly to be the best I can be. In addition to holding qualifications in business and customer service, I have earned the British Cleaning Certification Award (BCCA) qualification, which is recognised as the 'gold standard' in professional cleaning education. I've also completed numerous other cleaning and housekeeping courses from the world's largest and most comprehensive training provider for independent house cleaners, covering everything from carpet care to biohazards. I am COSHH trained and also hold first aid/CPR certification. As an affiliate member of several trade associations, I have access to top-notch training, product guidance and updates on industry standards and health and safety regulations. This ensures I stay current and knowledgeable when cleaning your home or business. I set the bar high - and then aim even higher.

  • Outstanding customer service - With a background in luxury retail, I bring my strong customer service skills to my cleaning business. From clear communication and 24/7 availability to ensure I meet your needs and requirements, to going the extra mile with special touches and thoughtful gifts, I take great pride in the service I provide. I care for every home as if it were my own, always giving you the same standards I would expect from my own cleaner. I understand the value of your time, so you can count on me to be punctual, efficient and fully dedicated to delivering a spotless clean every single time.

  • A cleaner earning a real living wage - A lot of cleaning companies rely on exploitative, unethical labour practices, but I am genuinely self-employed by choice. This means I'm passionate about my work and get paid a fair, living wage for both my cleaning and administrative time. Everything else goes right back into the business to improve the service I offer! Being properly compensated for my time means I'm better at my job too. In a climate where people are encouraged to 'act your wage', it's hard to put in your best effort when you're being paid unfairly. I do, because I respect myself, my clients and my work. I'll openly admit that I'm not the cheapest cleaner in the area, but my rates reflect my commitment to quality, ethical working practices and my investment in comprehensive training and premium professional products. In an unregulated industry, I set myself apart by ensuring I deliver the best. I also understand that when my clients pay me, that's money they've worked incredibly hard for. That's why I work hard in return. My clients deserve the best service I can provide, for the time and effort it's truly worth.

  • Personable - I am polite, well-mannered, easy to get along with and always maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic professional appearance. As a non-smoker, I pride myself on running a friendly and approachable business. I'm human, and I treat everyone with kindness and respect, always hoping for the same in return. I feel very fortunate to be able to choose my clients, and I truly appreciate the great relationships I've built with each and every one of them. My goal is simple - I just want to earn a living doing what I love, without exploiting anyone else to make it happen.

  • Cleaning industry trainer and influencer - In addition to working as a self-employed cleaner and housekeeper, I'm also passionate about training, mentoring and inspiring other self-employed cleaners, both in the UK and abroad. I've created and written lots of training resources and books specifically for independent cleaners, and also have a YouTube channel where I offer advice, help and support to those just starting out in the industry, as well as to more experienced professionals who are looking to grow and develop their businesses. It's all about sharing knowledge, supporting one another and raising the standards of our profession.
