Hi, I'm Liz. After a busy career in retail and sales, I founded Broadland Housekeeping in 2017 to offer a traditional domestic cleaning and housekeeping service with a modern, personalised approach. I work independently with no staff or subcontractors, allowing me to provide a dedicated, consistent boutique service with a familiar face you can trust.

A spotless, welcoming home is an investment in your wellbeing. Whether you have a busy family life, work full time, run your own business or simply prefer not to spend your free time cleaning, I'm here to help. My background includes luxury 5-star holiday accommodation, and this high standard is reflected in the quality of my work.

I am DBS checked, fully insured and committed to excellent health and safety standards. My service is child and pet friendly, and I can provide references from long term clients. I hold a British Cleaning Certification Award (BCCA), am COSHH trained and first aid/CPR trained. I also work as sustainably and eco-consciously as possible. A holiday home made special for Christmas guests. I love making things super fresh and clean for people visiting our lovely part of the world. Luxury holiday home cleaning is where I started and I bring those standards to each and every clean! Not just a pretty facade, this kitchen has been totally disinfected too so you know your guests get the best experience possible, and all with the lowest environmental impact possible. Why I don't charge per job..... Many cleaning companies charge a flat fee for their cleaning services depending on the size of the property. That's great if it works for them, but I prefer to do it on an hourly basis. This is because every house is different. For example, one property could be a huge five bedroom house but be well maintained, spacious, uncluttered and easy to move around in. In contrast, another property could be a small two bedroom flat but be poorly maintained, very cluttered, difficult to move around in and have multiple pets. And yet those two properties could take the same amount of time to clean, and therefore be the same price. I don't want to charge people for work I didn't do just on size alone, and I also don't want to work for free. Size doesn't matter 🧽✨

I have nearly posted this photo so many times but it bugs the HELL out of me that the remotes aren't level and the cushion isn't centre. But hey, I'm young, I'm hip, I'm chill (and yes, I know that's a lie) 🤣

I was talking to a friend of mine this afternoon who also owns a local cleaning company. We collaborate rather than compete. We have different ways of doing things, different clientele and different services that we offer. There's plenty of work to go around for everyone and it's so lovely being able to chat about the same job, as being self-employed can be very isolating sometimes. We're told it's a dog eat dog world but we prefer to think of it as, if we help each other water, we can all bloom further 🌷

These green glass cloths are quite frankly fantastic. I have hundreds of these and I can never have too many glass cloths in my life. One side is smooth (good for buffing) and the other side is textured (good for cleaning more stubborn areas) 🧽✨

Welcome to my new followers. Broadland Housekeeping is a very small, independent cleaning business where ethics are as important as shine. Established in 2017, I believe eco-friendly cleaning shouldn't be the niche, but the standard. My impeccable standards, warm and friendly service and ethic-driven culture, mean that I usually have more demand than I can cope with! Rather than being exploited and underpaid by a large cleaning company, I am self-employed and pay myself a genuine living wage. I believe you should work to live, not the other way around 🧽✨

Bathrooms are my specialism and favourite thing to clean! A bathroom deep clean includes all grout, shower traps, plugs, taps..... everything! I can even bring a grout pen in a colour match to refresh grout if discolouration can't be cleaned 🧽✨

You know by now that I am not about that toxic life, and that especially applies to where we cook our food. I only use 100% non-toxic products in my kitchen cleans that will not leave anything nasty where you feed your loved ones. I am also super good at it 🧽✨

The rise of short-term rentals in Norfolk over the past five years has been nothing short of astounding. And with it, a lot of 'cleaners' have crawled out of the woodwork - but be wary. When you're accommodating paying guests, there are certain standards that are not only just plain common courtesy, but also could have legal consequences if not met. I don't just clean short-term rentals, I make them perfect. I have a wealth of experience in luxury holiday lets and have never received a guest rating of less than 5 stars for cleanliness. I won't clean somewhere to standards I wouldn't stay myself. I have contacts in linen hire, I know what guests expect and I go the extra mile. Don't risk your business by hiring cheap, untrained cleaning 'agencies' that have no experience in this field. I will help you make your business in property management flourish 🧽✨

End of tenancy cleans are the deepest cleans you can get. You choose how far I go into the void of scrubbing, but I recommend you leave it to me if you want that all-important deposit back. End of tenancy cleans include everything and anything you could clean - inside and outsides of appliances, kitchen units, under beds, walls, windows, insides of cupboards, drawers and wardrobes..... Everything! Please note, everybody has different expectations from end of tenancy cleans. I will always strive for perfection unless asked otherwise. If you have a budget, please let me know 🧽✨

Deep cleaning is perfect for those who either want a deliciously clean home for me to keep looking fresh and stunning on my regular appointments, or those who just need me to come in and give their home the one-time clean it has been crying out for! As well as general cleaning, it also includes tasks such as cleaning windows, woodwork, skirting boards, grout, moving small items of furniture and cleaning underneath and behind, detailed vacuuming and deep dusting. Extras can also be arranged! 🧽✨

I offer all kinds of cleaning services in North Norfolk, all eco-friendly (obviously), green and of course, sparkling! My prices are honest, good value and offer me a real living wage for my hard work. A happy cleaner means more gleam! I am fully registered, insured and trained to the incredibly high standard I am renowned for. Regular domestic cleaning starts from £75 and always includes a deep clean on your first booking(s), just so it's at a base level of sparkling for me to keep your home looking its absolute best! 🧽✨

How much are your cleaning services?

My cleaning services start from £75 per appointment. All prices are via quotation and customised to your individual home and requirements.

I have never had a cleaner before. What things don't you do?

There are some things I unfortunately can't do due to insurance reasons, but I can do pretty much any cleaning or housekeeping task within reason, time permitting. My service is super bespoke and customisable. For more information, you can check out my services page on my website where it details the things I can do for you!

Can you visit my home before the clean to give me an estimate?

Absolutely. All potential clients have an initial consultation. Cleaning is difficult to estimate without seeing a property as you never really know how much cleaning is needed until you actually start doing it! It's a running joke in the industry that if you walk in somewhere and say to yourself "this won't take long at all" you're bound to find that once you get on your hands and knees and start, you'll be sadly mistaken!

How do I pay?

I accept cash and bank transfers but ask all clients to please pay their balance on the day to avoid me having to pester people (which I REALLY hate doing). Regular clients are also welcome to set up a standing order.

Do you do weekends/evenings?

No - sorry!

Do you do laundry/ironing services?

I offer in-house (as in, yours) laundry services and ironing, just let me know if you'd like some help!

Do I have to be in the property for you to come and clean?

Nope! I have loads of clients that I've literally only met once. I am a very established and trusted cleaner, DBS checked, fully insured and it's always just me. I don't just hire anyone off the street, so you can be sure you have a trusted individual in your home. I offer a secure key holding service if you do not have a key safe.

I pride myself on being a super friendly, approachable cleaner and housekeeper. I am human, treat everybody with kindness and respect and only hope to have the same in return! I am very lucky to be able to choose my clients and I appreciate and have a great relationship with each and every one. I just want to earn a living and not exploit anybody else to do it. I personally have nothing but 5* reviews and comments from my clients saying how happy they are and fully intend to keep it that way! As I'm working in your homes, to me it's equally important that you like your cleaner as a person too! I know I have the cleaning down, but I also really pride myself on knowing all of my clients are comfortable and trusting in me as a person too 💖

There's so many cleaning companies out there and since 2020, many more have popped up making grandiose claims with little to no experience in the field. I prefer to stay small. Sure, I'm not £12 an hour but that's because I am fully registered, insured and actually pay myself more than pennies. Cleaning in Norfolk costs anything between £12 to £30 an hour. I am nearer the higher end of that scale for my cleaning and housekeeping services, but I only use premium, eco-friendly, vegan certified products and have top of the range equipment including Dyson vacuums for carpets and hard floors. I take a living wage equivalent for both cleaning and administrative work and everything else goes back into advertising and the business! 🧽✨

A little treat for my beloved Pip. Over half of households in the UK have a pet. But what we use every day to keep our homes clean (and we all know how much that need increases with a fur family!), could and does cause lasting harm to our pets without us knowing. Many ingredients in common household cleaners are toxic to animals and can seriously affect them in later life. I adore animals, have a dog myself and make sure to research every single ingredient in the products I use to make sure they are pet-safe, natural and toxic chemical free where possible 🐶

I have long been recognised for my eco-friendly cleaning, both by my clients as well as my peers in the cleaning industry. Animals and the environment are something I am incredibly devoted to and I reflect that in many aspects of my life, but especially my business. Sustainability and a more eco-conscious way of living is becoming ever popular, and products and awareness are increasing massively each and every day. However I feel that cleaning, household products and cleaning services are being bypassed. I want to educate and show people that vegan, cruelty-free cleaning doesn't mean sage burning and terrible standards. It means a 5* service without harm! I don't believe that eco-cleaning is a 'niche'. I just say it's an added bonus to my excellent standard of cleaning! 🧽✨

If you stand there in the shower, feeling blue because of the dullness of your taps, I am here to help! Good evening everyone! A less cheery post today I'm afraid. I've been having a lot of problems with people not paying for their cleans by their payment due date. I'm only a small business and HATE having to pester people to settle their bill. I have never had to enforce my terms and conditions, but please be aware, you may be charged a late payment fee if you do not pay your invoice by the due date. Unfortunately only so much goodwill can be applied to these things, and late payments can seriously affect a small business, especially when it's a large amount. I don't want to have to take payments in advance, but it might have to be the case if payments continue to be late! Please make sure you pay your bill ASAP after I've made your home lovingly sparkle 💖

I often share the results but rarely the process, so here's a reel of me in action! This is a fortnightly clean at the home of one of my clients. As you can see, I offer high quality, detailed cleaning every time. If another cleaner quotes you less time or a lower price, it's because they just don't clean to the same standard 🧽✨️

Not only do I use vegan, cruelty free products, I research everything I use to make sure it's perfectly safe for your pets too! Did you know that most commercial cleaning products contain chemicals that have been tested on animals and can be toxic to pets? I am working hard to raise awareness of this and show the world that excellent cleaning need not be harmful to anything but germs and dirt! 💖
