Which areas do you cover?

Broadland Housekeeping is based in Stalham, North East Norfolk. My working area is in the villages and towns up to a 10 mile radius of Stalham, including North Walsham and Wroxham.

Are you an agency?

No - I'm an independent cleaner and housekeeper who works alone. Unlike agencies or franchises that send different cleaners each visit, I offer a dedicated, consistent service with a familiar face you can trust. My service is completely bespoke. Every home is unique, so I tailor my approach rather than using a generic 'one size fits all' method. I always begin with a free consultation to understand your priorities, assess the workload and create a personalised cleaning plan that fits your home and lifestyle.

Do you provide the cleaning products and equipment?

Yes, I provide everything needed to clean your home - click here to find out more about my kit. I am also happy to use products that you may want me to use but I do ask that you please let me know beforehand so I can download the safety data sheets for my records.

Can you help me with anything else besides cleaning?

Yes. While cleaning is my main service, I also assist with household tasks such as errands, home organisation and pet care. With experience managing prestigious homes, I understand the attention to detail needed to keep a larger property running smoothly and offer traditional, high standard housekeeping support. Are you insured?

Yes, I have business and public liability insurance for up to £5,000,000 (a copy of my insurance certificate is available on request) and all jobs are risk assessed. I am also DBS checked, registered with HMRC and a licensed waste carrier.

How often should I have my home professionally cleaned?

I recommend a regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly clean, depending on your needs and budget. This keeps your home looking its best and allows me to maintain areas that are often overlooked, like windows, woodwork and light fittings. If you prefer less frequent cleaning, I can sometimes offer seasonal or ad-hoc visits depending on availability. You're welcome to join my waiting list if your preferred slot isn't immediately open.

How much do you charge?

Please contact me directly to arrange a free, no obligation quote. All quotes are bespoke and customised to your individual home and requirements. Quoted prices include all cleaning products, materials and equipment. Please note that I do not work to an hourly rate, my prices are non-negotiable and I do not price match. How long will it take you to clean my house?

It depends on your home and what's needed. During your consultation, I'll walk through the property with you and assess the time required for the best results. I only clean one home per day, so your property receives my full attention with no rushing. I do not work against the clock - my focus is on delivering a thorough, high standard clean every time.

Will I meet you beforehand?

Yes. All new clients have an initial consultation with me at a time that suits you. It's a relaxed, informal visit where you can show me around, discuss your cleaning needs and cover key details such as allergies, pets, special requirements and access arrangements. It's also a chance for us to meet and chat before work begins. All new clients receive a welcome pack with more information about my services.

How do I pay?

You will be supplied with an invoice at the end of each clean. I accept payment via electronic bank transfer although I can accommodate other forms of payment on request. Most clients choose to pay me at the end of each clean but I am happy to arrange an alternative payment schedule if preferred.

Do I need to be home when you arrive?

Only if you prefer. Many clients choose to be out, as it makes cleaning easier and is lovely to return to. I'm also happy to work around you if you're home. If you'll be out, please ensure I have access. I can use a key safe or securely hold your key, and all keys and codes are stored safely and confidentially.

Are you okay with dogs?

Yes. I'm a dog owner and confident with all breeds and sizes. I just ask for a proper introduction before I start work so your dog can get to know me. I'm also comfortable working around other pets, including cats, birds, insects and reptiles.

What if I don't want anybody to know I have a cleaner?

That's absolutely fine. I offer a discreet, confidential service and my car is unmarked. I follow a strict privacy policy, comply with data protection laws and provide written confidentiality agreements to all clients.

Do you provide one-off cleans?

Yes. I specialise in detailed deep cleans and offer custom one-off packages for bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, bedrooms or full houses. I can sometimes accommodate end of tenancy and moving-in cleans - please contact me for current availability.

Do you clean holiday lets and Airbnbs?

I don't provide regular changeover services for commercial holiday lets or Airbnbs, but I do cater for private holiday homes. Services can include bed making, laundry, welcome gifts, consumables, maintenance checks and liaising with contractors.

What happens if I want to cancel?

No problem. I don't tie my clients down with long contracts. Just please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel, so your slot can be offered to another client.
