I bring everything needed to make your home sparkle - and if I don't have it, I'll find it! My cleaning kit is stocked with luxury, high-quality professional products including toilet gels, antibacterial sprays, glass cleaners, cream cleaners, polishes, limescale removers, disinfectants, cleaning pastes, floor cleaners, leather cleaners, stainless steel cleaners, stone cleaners, air fresheners, mould removers, degreasers, probiotics, carpet fresheners, grout cleaners and stain removers. Not only do my products deliver exceptional results and leave your home smelling amazing, but most are also eco-friendly, ethical and cruelty-free too. I even create some of my own in-house blends using natural, eco-friendly ingredients like citric acid, bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar.

Achieving a flawless clean doesn't just rely on the liquid products in my kit - it's often the variety of cleaning cloths I use that makes all the difference. During a typical cleaning session, I can easily go through dozens of cloths. I don't believe in cleaning with dirty cloths or mop heads, so as soon as one becomes soiled, I switch to a fresh one. Each home I clean has its own dedicated set of professional grade cloths, dusters and mop heads, which are thoroughly hot washed and sanitised after every clean. My cloths are typically replaced every 2-3 months due to the heavy wear and frequent washing they endure. Proper hygiene is key, and reusing dirty cloths, mop heads or cleaning tools simply isn't an option. This is why I carry so much equipment with me, and when I arrive, it might look like I'm about to move in - it's all part of ensuring a deep and hygienic clean!

To maintain hygiene, I use colour-coded cloths, assigning specific colours to designated areas, to ensure they're only used in specific rooms or on certain surfaces to prevent cross-contamination. While colour coding isn't a legal requirement for professional cleaners, it's a widely adopted system within the cleaning industry to create a safer and more hygienic environment. The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) actually recommends using colour coding to reduce the spread of germs and maintain high hygiene standards. This system helps prevent cross-contamination between areas that should never share cleaning tools, such as bathrooms and kitchens. I am dedicated to upholding the highest hygiene standards in every home I clean.

To protect and care for your floors, I carry fully collapsible eco-mops with fresh mop heads in my kit. I'm a strong advocate for spray mops - they minimise water waste and are far superior to traditional wring mops for maintaining laminate and hardwood floors. This allows me to clean more effectively while staying true to my eco-conscious values. My toolkit also includes a wide range of brushes, sponges, erasers, scrubbers, squeegees, cleaning pads, lint rollers, grout tools, crevice tools, drain rods and cleaning blades. Plus I always have PPE on hand including gloves and masks, to ensure a safe and hygienic cleaning process.

I exclusively use Dyson vacuum cleaners as in my opinion, they offer unmatched cleaning power, versatility and easy maintenance. After testing numerous brands over the years, nothing compares to a Dyson upright. I specifically use top of the range Dyson Animal HEPA microfilter vacuums, designed for all floor types and equipped with a full range of deep-cleaning tools for exceptional results, including stair tools, dusting brushes, crevice tools, turbine brushes and flat heads for cleaning under furniture.

Having the right tools and equipment is essential for efficient, high quality cleaning. Without them, tasks take longer and may not be done correctly which no one wants. That's why I personally test all new products in my own home before using them in a client's. This ensures that I never clean your home with something I wouldn't be happy to use in mine. It also gives me the chance to refine my techniques, make mistakes and improve my speed and effectiveness before working in a client's home.

Persistence is key in cleaning - I don't always find the perfect product on the first try, but patience and testing usually lead to success. And trust me, my house is the ultimate testing ground! I have a slobbery Dogue de Bordeaux that sheds constantly, an old kitchen, massive windows that highlight every speck of dust and cobweb, thick grout, black glass, shaggy rugs and shelves packed with books..... Just about every cleaning challenge you can imagine. If a product or technique works here, I know it will work anywhere!
