Pets and cleaning are two of my greatest passions - and my most expensive hobbies! However they create a bit of a paradox because keeping a spotless home while having pets is no easy task. Pets naturally bring more mess, but that doesn't mean hiring a cleaner is out of the question. In fact, a pet-friendly cleaner can be the perfect daytime companion for your furry friends while keeping your home fresh. But what does 'pet-friendly' really mean? To me, it means understanding and respecting your pets. I'm comfortable and confident around dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as other animals, including cats, birds, insects, fish and reptiles. I recognise that I'm stepping into their space, so I allow them to approach me on their terms. My goal is to ensure they feel safe and undisturbed while I work.

I take extra precautions when cleaning - being mindful of their food and water bowls, bedding and ensuring they don't walk on freshly cleaned or wet surfaces. If requested, I can provide fresh water, food or even let them out into a secure garden for a break. I know pets are more than just animals - they're family. That's why I treat them with the same care, respect and love that I would want for my own pets.

Just like any relationship, it may take time for your pets to get to know and trust me. That's why I always ask to be properly introduced before starting work. During our initial consultation, I'll take the opportunity to meet your pets and discuss any specific needs or requirements they may have. Having a Dogue de Bordeaux myself, I'm well-acquainted with the never-ending battle against fur and drool - and I've won my fair share of victories! But beyond that, I genuinely love and care for animals and fully embrace a horse and country lifestyle. Whether I need to quietly slip through the door to avoid startling a house cat, keep windows shut for safety or meticulously check product ingredients due to a dog's allergies, I completely understand. Your pet's wellbeing is my priority, and I will always work in a way that keeps them safe.

I use eco-friendly, pet-safe products and take extra precautions to ensure your pets aren't exposed to harmful chemicals. I'm mindful of wet floors, avoid spraying near food or water and if I wouldn't use a product around my own pet, I certainly won't use it around yours. Many common cleaning ingredients can be harmful to animals and I'm fully committed to their safety and happiness. By now, I consider myself an expert in tackling pet hair - I know exactly where to aim the hoover to catch every last bit of hidden fluff! Most importantly, I recognise that pets are family, and I'll always work with you to ensure they feel safe, comfortable and happy in their own home.
