A deep clean goes beyond regular cleaning by thoroughly tackling every corner and surface of a room, removing built up dirt and grime that has gathered over time. It focuses on those often overlooked areas that don't get cleaned regularly. When I start working with a new client, I always prefer to begin with a deep clean, as it sets a high standard for all future cleaning sessions.
I'm often asked how long a full house deep clean takes, but it's hard to give an exact timeframe, and there are several reasons for that. A deep clean isn't just a quick 'wipe down'- it involves letting products sit to work, tackling limescale, removing mould, dusting from top to bottom, pulling out shower plugs, cleaning windows and much more. The time it takes also depends on how dirty the house is. Some homes may only need one limescale treatment to make a shower screen shine, while others might require several treatments to get the desired result. It's not a service that can be rushed if you want the best outcome. Deep cleans take longer, use more product, but the results are always incredibly satisfying.

Cleaning, when done properly, isn't about a quick spray here and there. It's the attention to detail that makes all the difference. It's the extra few minutes spent removing a stubborn mark on a hob that the client thought would need replacing. It's not just wiping down the cap covering a shower drain - it's pulling it out and giving it a thorough clean. Every room can benefit from a full deep clean every so often (ideally every 6 months). When you vacuum and dust your bedroom regularly, you ensure the air is clear of allergens and dust particles. It also prevents bacteria and viruses from harbouring in your home. With clear, fresh air and a clean and inviting bed, your sleep will be better and healthier. Here's my checklist for a bedroom/dressing room deep clean.....
