When Life Gives You Lemons...

When life gives you lemons... Get using them! Here are just a few of the many ways that they can be used around the home.....

• Clean the microwave - The easiest, simplest way to get your microwave spotless with no scrubbing required.

• Clean your wooden chopping boards - My favourite way to clean wooden chopping boards at the end of the night.

• Make an all-purpose kitchen cleaner - Don't throw out those lemon peels - save them and make an awesome smelling kitchen cleaner. When you allow discarded citrus peels to sit in white vinegar for a few weeks, it infuses the vinegar with the oils and scents of the peel.

• Polish copper - No matter how tarnished your copper cookware is, a lemon can make it all better.

• Fridge deodoriser - Remove odours from your fridge with half a lemon. Change once a week.

• And don't forget - Add a slice to your G&T!
